Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Salah Satu Tujuan Proklim

Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Kecamatan Biduk-Biduk, Kabupaten Berau menjadi lokasi ketiga untuk pelaksanaan kunjungan jurnalistik Program Kampung Iklim (Proklim) atau program pengurangan emisi karbon berbayar Forest Carbon Partnership Fasility (FCPF) Carbon Fund 2020 – 2024.

Pada awal November 2019 lalu, beberapa lokasi objek wisata pun tak luput dari sasaran kunjungan. Meskipun harus melewati akses jalan dengan berhiking ria sepanjang 2,5 KM  yang kemiringan hampir 45 derajat , sampai di tujuan disuguhi air terjun nan indah yang airnya berasal dari Karst dengan tinggi air terjun 15 meter.

Sesampainya di Kampung Teluk Sumbang pun sudah disuguhi pemandangan Teluk Pulau yang mengarah pulau Kaniungan Besar yang secara administratif masih masuk dari areal Kecamatan Biduk-Biduk berisi 20 Kepala Keluarga serta  laut lepas Pulau Sulawesi. Diketahui ,Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Kecamatan Bidukbiduk, yang merupakan kampung terjauh di ujung pesisir selatan Berau, memiliki beragam potensi.

Sementara itu, kunjungan tersebut merupakan tindak lanjut workshop peningkatan pemahaman awak media terkait program FCPF Carbon Fund yang telah dilaksanakan beberapa waktu lalu. Dipimpin langsung Tim Biro Humas Setprov Kaltim, yakni Kabag Kehumasan Andik Riyanto, serta Kasubbag Eksternal Sekdaprov Murni serta Konsultan Depelovment Social FCPF Carbon Fund, Ahmad Wijaya , Zulkifly  Perwakilan DDPI serta 10 awak media Benua Etam dan Nasional  bertolak dari Kantor Gubernur Kaltim menuju lokasi kunjungan jurnalistik, pada 4 November 2019 lalu.

Perjalanan trip ketiga ini menggunakan jalur udara terlebih dahulu dari Bandara APT Pranoto Samarinda hingga ke Bandara Kalimarau Kabupaten Berau,dan akhirnya menggunakan transportasi 5 kendaraan roda empat menuju Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Kecamatan Biduk Biduk, yang merupakan kampung terjauh di ujung Bumi Batiwakal. Setidaknya, rombongan melewati 5 kecamatan yakni Sambaliung, Tabalar, Biatan, talisayan, Batu putih ,Biduk–biduk kurang lebih 300 kilometer untuk menuju ke Kampung itu.

Tindak lanjut Aksi FCPF akan mengirimkan anggotanya sebanyak 80 orang untuk menguatkan kembali program pengurangan emisi karbon di 150 Desa di Kalimantan timur. Sementara secara admisntratif ,Sekretaris Desa Teluk Sumbang Al Hamid menungkapkan, desa tersebut memiliki luas 15 ribu hektare termasuk lautan. Terdapat 201 kepala keluarga dengan total penduduk 726 jiwa. Potensi wisatanya yang ada di Teluk Sumbang ini ada pantai, pulau, dan air terjun. Untuk air terjun ada Air Terjun Bidadari dan Air Terjun Penimbul. (bangun banua)

 

Kampung Teluk Sumbang, One of Proklim’s Destinations

Teluk Sumbang Village, Biduk-Biduk Subdistrict, Berau District is the third location for carrying out journalistic visits to the Climate Village Program (Proklim) or paid carbon emission reduction program Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) Carbon Fund 2020-2024.

In early November 2019, several tourist attraction locations were not spared from the target of the visit. Even though they have to pass the road access by making fun along 2.5 KM with a slope of almost 45 degrees, until the destination is treated to a beautiful waterfall whose water comes from Karst with a 15 meter high waterfall.

Arriving at Kampung Teluk Sumbang, the view of Pulau Teluk that leads to Kaniungan Besar Island, which is administratively still entering the Biduk-Biduk District area, contains 20 families and the seas off Sulawesi Island. It is known, Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Bidukbiduk Subdistrict, which is the farthest village on the southern tip of Berau, has a variety of potential.

Meanwhile, the visit was a follow-up to a workshop to increase the understanding of media crews related to the FCPF Carbon Fund program which had been held some time ago. Head of the East Kalimantan Setprov Public Relations Team, namely the Head of Public Relations Andik Riyanto, and the Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat Subdivision and the FCPF Social Fund Social Consultation Consultant, Ahmad Wijaya, Zulkifly DDPI Representative and 10 members of the Benua Etam and National media departed from the East Kalimantan Governor’s Office to the location of the journalistic visit of the Social Fund FCPF , on November 4, 2019 ago.

This third trip uses the first air route from Samarinda’s Pranoto APT Airport to the Kalimarau Airport in Berau Regency, and finally uses the transportation of four four-wheeled vehicles to Kampung Teluk Sumbang, Biduk Biduk Subdistrict, which is the furthest village on the edge of Batiwakal Earth. At least, the group passed through 5 districts namely Sambaliung, Tabalar, Biatan, Talisayan, Batu Putih, Biduk, approximately 300 kilometers to go to the village.

Follow-up Action The FCPF will send 80 members to strengthen its carbon emission reduction program in 150 villages in East Kalimantan. While administratively, Teluk Sumbang Al Hamid Village Secretary revealed, the village has an area of ​​15 thousand hectares including the sea. There are 201 families with a total population of 726 inhabitants. The tourism potentials in Sumbang Bay have beaches, islands and waterfalls. For waterfalls there is Angel Falls and Penimbul Waterfalls.
